Japan's popular cafe chain, St. Marc Cafe is opening in Malaysia. St Marc Cafe open the first outlet at Sunway Pyramid on 25th November 2016. Serving hot and fresh pastries in store, delectable desserts, signature beverages and premium coffees that give you an ideal experience.
St. Marc Café was first opened by founders Naoyuki Katayama and Ritsuko Fuji back in 1987 in Ginza, Tokyo, and is now renowned throughout Japan for its signature creation, the Chococro. I am crazy about this Chococro and it features more than 20 layers of buttery croissant dough, wrapped around a dark chocolate centre made from the finest cocoa beans from Ghana and Ecuador. Love the wonderful feeling when the dark chocolate burst in my mouth.
What is so amazing about Chococro is the uniqueness of the texture. Founder Naoyuki Katayama discovered it by accident after skipping the fermentation process when making the croissant dough and resulting in a pastry that is denser and richer. Chococro has become St. Marc Café’s bestsellers. Beside original chocolate version, Chococro currently has over 100 varieties, which are sold seasonally depending on the time of the year.
It's is always cause for celebration whenever St. Marc Cafe embark with delectable soft-serve ice cream desserts, which are infused with traditional Japanese flavors and ingredients. A must try on their parfait desserts that infuse satisfaction for dessert craving.
The open-kitchen concept allows customers to enjoy the bakeries process. Maintaining high level of hygieness and freshness of the pastries is important to St. Marc Cafe. St. Marc Cafe will ensure they deliver the best quality of pastries to their customers.
“We are excited to bring in St. Marc Café, one of Japan’s biggest café chains, and the first Japanese café franchise in Malaysia,” said St. Marc Café General Manager Mohamad Ridhwan. “Here, customers can enjoy a variety of freshly-baked goods made with the highest quality ingredients, from pastries and sandwiches to in-house specialties such as our rich hot chocolate, Fuji soft serves and parfaits, and of course, our famous Chococro.”
Takafumi Miyake, Managing Director of Saintmarc South East Asia Pte Ltd, added, “I am very proud to be here for the opening of our first outlet in Malaysia.
