This is my first time visit ANTE - Publika Shopping Gallery and I stepped in with high expectation as Ante is famous with pork in many forms. I thoroughly enjoy the dining at ANTE. ANTE has been nominated as Best Place for Meats in 2014 and winner of The “Best Place for Meat” category for the TIME OUT KL FOOD AWARDS 2015.
House Smoked Bacon (RM19)
The House Smoked bacon stood out smokey flavour and smokey texture. The bacon is made raw and fresh at ANTE whereby the dedicate kitchen team carefully manicures, brines and air dry before smoking it. Try a slice of the smoked bacon with seeded mustard to give a perfect taste in your mouth.
Tasting Platter (RM46)
A generous portion of cold platter really impressed us with freshness of the taste. The tasting platter featuring imported Jamon Iberico, Spanish cured ham, cubes of smoked duck breast, with a side of extra virgin live oil infused rockmelon and ricotta. Of course it will be complete when you paired it with a sliced of soft Sourdough bread and Lescure butter.
Miso Pork Belly (RM19)
Miso Pork Belly make me crazy for it. The pork belly itself is awesome with it delicious crackling crunch. The pork belly cooked in low fire for 12 hours and it still maintain the sweetness and juiciness of the meat. Add on miso glaze and herbed crust on the top of the pork belly. Personally will recommend the Miso pork belly.
Crispy Trotter Salad (RM29)
If you looking for something light, Crispy Trotter Salad will give it a kick and you only can taste this wonderful salad at ANTE. The pork trotter skin is fried until golden color and maintain the crispiness. The pork trotter skin will adorned on top of a mixed lollo lettuce, young papaya and mango with pecan nuts, pomegranate seeds and a french vinaigrette dressing.
